U-Hi Reunion |
On Friday evening, classes 1962 thru 1965 met for a pre-reunion "meet & greet" at Spring Valley Country Club. This was a less formal affair and alcohol was involved to lubricate the conversation, which became rather lively later in the night. Some claim to have enjoyed this evening more than the "big gala" the next evening. Saturday evening at the Lexington Country Club was attended by nearly 500 alumni and their guests. It was easily evident the planning and execution of this event must have been overwhelming, and congratulations to those in charge. Other than "catching-up" with old friends, we were also treated with the attendance of some former teachers, especially Jess Gardner and Coach Huff.
